Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept custom commissions?

Yes! Feel free to get in touch using the contact form at the bottom of each page to discuss your idea. I accept commissions for watercolours, Old Master copies, portraits, and selected custom projects.

How does the commission process work?

We begin with a detailed conversation to define the subject, size, and visual direction of the work, ensuring we are fully aligned on the vision. Once the commission is agreed, a simple contract is put in place to confirm the details. Payment is divided into 2–3 instalments: an initial one before work begins, a second instalment (for larger projects) due halfway through, and the final balance prior to shipping. If you’d like, I can also share work-in-progress photos along the way, so you can follow the painting as it develops.

How long does a commission take?

Timing depends on the complexity and size of the work. Watercolours typically take a few weeks, while oil paintings and larger works require a few months.

Do you ship internationally?

For commissioned artworks and paintings, I do ship internationally.

Regarding my e-commerce, orders can be placed directly through the website only within the European Union. If you are located outside the EU, please feel free to get in touch with me via the contact form, and I will do my best to arrange shipping.

Do artworks come framed?

Unless otherwise stated, artworks are sold unframed.

How should I take care of the artwork?

To ensure longevity, keep artworks away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity.
